Von der Schwarzensteinhütte über verblocktes Gelände zum Felsköpfl (3235m). Rechts davon über einen ca. 30 Meter hohen und 35 Grad steilen Hang auf das Plateau des Schwarzensteinkees.
Hier besteht für die Gipfeljäger auch noch die Möglichkeit einen Abstecher auf den leicht zu begehenden Schwarzenstein (3363m) zu machen.
Der Track führt dann weiter über den Gletscher (Achtung Querspalten!) ins Mörchnerkar, wo wir auf einer Höhe von ca. 2700 Meter den Gletscher verlassen und über einen gut markierten Weg zur Berliner Hütte und weiter zum Breitlahner absteigen.
