Die Tour führt einmal quer über den Schwarzwald und wieder zurück. Es sind die Pässe Kniebis, Freiersberg und die Alexanderschanze zu überqueren, wobei die Oppenauer Steige als Highlight zum Schluss kommt. Die Tour führt teilweise auf Nebenstraßen, was sich am Verkehr bemerkbar macht.
