Die Tour führt von Böblingen Rauher Kapf über Hohenheim und durch das Körschtal nach Scharnhausen.
Von hier geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt über die Fildern und das Siebenmühlental.
Die Wegstrecke geht teils durch den Wald, teils übers Feld und fast immer auf Radwegen, die teils geschottert, teils asphaltiert sind. Ein ganz kurzes Stück ist schwer fahrbar (etwa 50m). Da schiebt man besser.
Nur kurze Stücke führen auf oder an Straßen durch Ortschaften.
Die Strecke ist zu großen Teilen landschaftlich sehr schön. Auf den Fildern lässt sie teilweise etwas zu wünschen übrig, weil es dort wegen Flughafen und Autoverkehr etwas laut ist.
