Ordentlich steiler, weniger stark frequentierter Skiberg, für den sichere Bedingungen obligat sind.
Gestartet wird bei den Soldhäusern von Untertilliach. Zunächst geht es über den für die Abfahrt ausreichend steilen Forstweg in das Winklertal. Knapp vor dem Talschluss, am flachen Almboden angekommen geht es links hoch in Richtung Gipfel. Dabei in etwa entlang vom Sommersteig R#26 immer südöstlich halten und dabei stetig Höhe gewinnen. Der Gipfel selbst ist vom Winklertal aus recht versteckt und kann erst gegen Ende der Tour eingesehen werden.
Die Abfahrt ist ordentlich steil und durch die NW-Lage pulververwöhnt.

In das Lesachtal nach Obertilliach. Beim Ortsteil Winkl nach unten zum Tilliacherhof abbiegen. Knapp vor dem Hof kann man nahe der Gail parken.
