Die Tour verläuft meist auf verkehrsberuhigten Nebenstraßen. Der Anstieg auf das "Kuhbett" erfordert etwas Kraft/Ausdauer. Anschließend erfolgt zur Belohnung eine schöne Abfahrt hinab nach Rod an der Weil. Kleine Highlights sind die Serpentinen bei Heinzenberg und die Streckenführung durch das Weiltal. Für eine Pause, wenn denn erforderlich, bieten sich verschiedene Gastronomiebetriebe in Weilmünster an.
Als Start-Ziel-Ort wählten wir den Parkplatz am Ortseingang Selters-Eisenbach (Nähe Autohaus und Zimmereibetrieb Weichel).
