Vom Parkplatz "Berggasthof Hohe Asten"" auf der Tatzelwurmstraße die Forststraße hinauf in Richtung Hohe Asten. Nach ca. einer 3/4 Stunde die Forststraße verlassen und einen Waldweg hinauf. Nicht beschildert! Durch den Wald bis zur Anhöhe mit den Wiesen. Jetzt über die Wiesen auf den Buckel. Auf der Höhe entlang bis zum Überstieg am Waldrand. Noch 100m durch den Wald bis zum ausgesetzten Gipfel. Gleichen Weg zurück bis zu den Wiesen. Nur jetzt Richtung Inntal auf gleicher Höhe bleibend bis auf gleicher Höhe mit dem Berggasthof. Nun steil über die Wiesen hinab zum Gasthof. Einkehrmöglichkeit. Von dort die Forststraße zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
