Die Tour ist sehr abwechslungsreich, praktisch kein Asphalt, hoher Anteil kleiner Wege und Pfade. Wer ohne GPS-Gerät wandert wie ich sollte zur guten Wanderkarte auch einen Kompass dabei haben. Ich zeichne die Touren am Wandertag lediglich mit einem Logger auf.
Einkehrmöglichkeiten in Rengsdorf gut, z. B. ziemlich nahe der Bushaltestelle ein hervorragendes Eiscafe.

Ab Neuwied problemlos mit Buslinie 101 nach Rengsdorf, Haltestelle Sparkasse, fährt auch am Wochenende. Kurzer Einstieg in die Tour mit ganz wenig Ortsdurchlauf.
