Die Tour startet in Maulbach, einem Ortsteil von Bad Münstereifel, Der Beginn der Tour ist gut beschildert. Aber leider muss man schon nach kurzer Zeit die Richtungspfeile suchen. Oft gibt es gar keine und da hilft das GPS sehr. Wan man am Hochthürmer (erloschener Vulkan) angelangt ist kann man die Route abkürzen und durch den Wald nach Kirchsahr herunter fahren. Ist ein schöner Singletrail durch den Wald z.T. mit schlechter Strecke. In Kirchsahr sollte man sich an der Gabelung links halten und dem Track folgen, sonst fährt man ca. 3 KM über Asphaltstraße. Das wäre dann eine mögliche Abkürzung macht aber keinen Spaß. Ansonsten schöne Runde nicht zu schwierig.
