Es handelt sich um eine kleine Runde rings um Pottenstein, größtenteils auf Waldwegen mit einem kurzen Abschnitt auf einer Landstrasse (Kirchbirkig - Schüttermühle).
Eingekehrt sind wir ganz hervorragend im Kapellenhof hinter Elbersberg.
Zwischendurch sind eine kurze aber knackige Anstiege dabei, so wie es eben die deutschen Mittelgebirge bieten.
