Die schöne Wanderung in der Nähe des Nationalparks Gesäuse über den Lahngangkogel ab der Oberst Klinke Hütte ist nicht schwer und damit auch für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. Der Wanderweg ist nicht nummeriert und nur an den wichtigsten Stellen markiert bzw. beschildert. Dennoch ist es nicht schwer dem gut ausgetretenen Wanderweg bis zur Wagenbänkalm hin und zurück zu folgen.
