Sehr schöne, abwechslungsreiche, lange Bergwanderung. Gute Schuhe, etwas Schwindelfreiheit und eine Taschenlampe für die längeren Tunnels sind erforderlich. Die großen Verbotsschilder kann man ignorieren, auf eigene Gefahr.
Es existiert auch eine kürzere Variante auf GPS-Tour, ohne die langen Tunnels mit Bahnlinie. /de/touren/detail.5049.html Aber die lohnen sich wirklich und sorgen für Abwechslung.
Tipp: Wenn möglich, dann sollte man in Verceia oder weiter oben am Berg ein zweites Auto deponieren. Das hat den Vorteil, dass man nicht zum Ausgangspunkt mühsam hinauf laufen muss.
Einkehrmöglichkeiten: In Codera gibt es das Rif. Locanda und die Osteria Alpina, wo man bei ortstypischem Ambiente einheimische Kost vorgesetzt bekommt.
Anfahrt: In Novate Mezzola dem Hinweis "Val Codera" folgen, aufwärts zu einem Parkplatz am Eingang in das Coderatal.
