Radweg am Anfang teils Sand und Schotter. Keine Steigung außer die Oodenzalbrücke in Rheda. In Rietberg kommt man einmal durch die Baustelle der Landesgartenschau. Sehenswert die Fachwerkbauten von Rietberg und Wiedenbrück und das Landesgartenschaugelände von Rheda-Wiedenbrück, wo der Emsradweg direkt durchführt.

Rückweg Bahnhof Warendorf mit Nordwestbahn Richtung Rheda Bielefeld, bis Hövelriege. In Warendorf in den vorderen Triebwagen einsteigen. Der Hintere wird in Rheda abgekoppelt. Einmal umsteigen in Brackwede Richtung Paderborn.
