Für die Tour kann der Startpunkt beliebig gewählt werden. Besonders bietet sich Heiligenstadt oder Ebermannstadt an.
Die Strecke führt am "Fliegerhorst" Feuerstein vorbei und folgt der "Langen Meile". Bei schönem Wetter bietet sich der Reifenberger Keller als Rastmöglichkeit mit phänomenaler Aussicht an. Kommod geht es weiter bis Streitberg, wo die Höhenmeterfraktion bei der Auffahrt zum Hummerstein auf ihre Kosten kommt. Auf Waldwegen geht es nach Veilbronn und schließlich Heiligenstadt.
