Es ist natürlich keine Strecke für Fahrräder!
Man kann aber trotzdem radeln - auf einer Draisine !!
Ich wollte hier nur das Streckenprofil zeigen, denn ich finde dies Strecke sehr schön.
Sie steigt auf der Hinfahrt gleichmäßig an , führt über Brücken und durch Tunnel (bis zu 1,5KM Länge - s. Link unten)
Der Spass ist auf der Rückfahrt garantiert. :-))
PS. Die Tunnel und die schnelle Rückfahrt haben mein Navi etwas verwirrt, deshalb ist der Weg nicht identisch.

Am Bahnhof Lengenfeld unterm Stein ist ein kleiner Auto-Parkplatz. Fahrräder kann man hinter dem Bahnhof abstellen.

Kanonenbahn als Radweg

Wir sind heute von Heiligenstadt aus kommend knapp 10 km auf der Kanonenbahn mit dem Rennrad gefahren. Eine sehr schöne Strecke über insgesamt 32 km, die wir noch einmal ganz abfahren müssen.
