Die Strecke ist eigentlich als Cyclecross-Strecke gedacht, da sie hauptsächlich über Waldwege führt. Die Tour startet mit einer wilden Berg- und Talfahrt im Grafenberger Wald, vorbei am Gerresheimer Friedhof. Der Teil ist durchaus auch MTB-tauglich. Dann geht es durch sämtliches Grün -über Erkrath und Hochdahl- rund um Hilden wieder über Wald und Wirtschaftswege zurück nach Düsseldorf. Eine feine Strecke
