Vom Hafen aus durch den Ort zum Aufstieg auf den Kraterrand. Dort die ersten Meter auf der Westflanke hinauf bis zum "accesso gran cratere" und dort seinen Obulus entrichten.
Jetzt steil bergan bis zu den Austrittsflächen der Schwefeldämpfe. Mund- und Augenschutz sind angebracht. Von dort weiter bis zum Gipfel mit Blick in den Krater. Jetzt den Krater umrunden und wieder auf dem Anstiegsweg zurück.
Sehr schönes Vulkanerlebnis.
Hohe Schuhe sind wegen des Staubes und Sandes günstig.
