Leichte Wanderung von der Mooshütte um den kleinen Arbersee. Die Wanderung verläuft auf Waldwegen oder Pfaden. Gutes Schuhwerk ist aufgrund des oft nassen und manchmal unebenen Untergrundes nötig.
Vom kleinen Arbersee ist der Große Arber zu sehen. Einkehrmöglichkeit besteht im Seehäusl am kleinen Arbersee und in der Mooshütte (nach Wiedereröffnung).

Von Lam kommend, kurz vor dem Brennes rechts abbiegen zur Mooshütte über einen gut befestigten Waldweg. Dort besteht Parkmöglichkeit.
