Startpunkt dieses Rundweges ist der Parkplatz in der Au am Flugplatz. Hier nehmen wir links den Weg und gehen Richtung Ludwigsturm. In serpentienen schlängelt sich der Weg nun hinauf zum Ludwigsturm. Hier folgen wir den Getertenweg richtung Klaushof.
Nach einiger Zeit biegen wiri links ab und folgen den Waldlehrpfad bis zum Klaushof.
Am Klaushof laufen wir nun durch das Kaskadental und an den Saalewiesen entlang zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
