Ausgangspunkt ist der Bahnhof in Grünau im Almtal. 5min. entlang der Gleise führen zum Einstieg auf den Zwillingskogel. Ein durchwegs steiler Aufstieg durch einen Laubwald hinauf zum Bergsattel. Eine kurze Querung und man ist am kleinen aber sehr netten Gipfel. Keine schwierige Tour aber von unten bis oben eine stetige Steigung.
