Startpunkt ist der Loipeneinstieg "Loipentor 1" in Oberwiesenthal. Man folgt dem "Neudorfer Skiwanderweg" bis Kretscham und wechselt dann auf den Skiwanderweg "Neudorf - Bärenstein". Bis Kretscham ist die Tour gut ausgeschildert, von da bis Bärenstein sind Wegweiser sehr dünn gesät. Die Abfahrt vom Bärenstein nach Cranzahl kann variieren, die Tour umfährt ein durch Baumeinschlag gesperrtes Gebiet.
Tour ist mittelschwer, gerade bis Kretscham sollte "auch gut gebremst werden können".
