Ausgedehnte Rennradtour durch die Bilderbuchlandschaft der Stauden im südlichen Naturpark Augsburg - Westliche Wälder. Die Runde ist gespickt mit etlichen Anstiegen und aussichtsreichen Kuppen. Vor allem während des Streckenverlaufs durch das Unterallgäu ist der Bergblick stellenweise sehr gut. Kurz nach Markt Wald, etwa bei Kilometer 60, führt uns die Route an dem direkt neben der Strasse gelegenen Jakobsbrunnen vorbei. Die Gelegenheit sollte an heissen Tagen genutzt werden, um die Trinkflasche wieder zu befüllen, ansonsten findet sich etwas später in Türkheim ein REWE und eine Tankstelle.
