Die Wanderung verläuft auf Pfaden und Forstwegen. Der sehr steile Aufstieg über ein Geröllfeld erfordert Trittsicherheit. Wer nicht über das Geröllfeld möchte kann den bequemen Rückweg auch als Aufstieg nutzen und so die schöne Aussicht genießen. Wegbeschreibung kann aus dem Wanderführer Rother Toskana Nord entnommen werden.
