Von Bad Hersfeld auf der B 27 in Richtung Bebra. Nach Friedlos in Richtung Homberg auf der L 3254 ca. 7 km bis Ludwigsau-Gerterode. Nach Ende der Ortschaft noch ca. 100 m bis zum zunächst noch geteerten Feldweg. Es wird empfohlen das Fahrzeug in der Ortslage abhzustellen.
