Abruzzencross von Isola del Gran Sasso zum Lago di Fiastra
Etappe 2
Startpunkt: Skigebiet Prati di Tivo
Gran Sasso-Durchquerung zum Campo Imperatore
Anfangs auf steilem Karrenweg zum Rio Arno fahren, dann ca. 2 h schieben durch ein traumhaftes Hochtal auf dem Sentiero Italia bis zum Pass „la Portella“. Auf tollem Trail zum Rifugio Campo Imperatore. Auf Asphalt im Sinkflug hinab in die Hochfläche und weiter zum Sella di Monte Cristo um erst nach der Straßenkehre auf Bikeroute abzweigen (Achtung in der Karte zweigt die eingetragene Route zu früh ab!).Auf dem Sentiero Italia durch das Grasland am Lago di Passaneta vorbei und nach einem kurzen Teerstraßenstück über den Sella Cristoforo auf Karrenweg nach Castel del Monte.
