Den Forstweg mäßig ansteigend bis ca. zur Hälfte des Weges zur Martin-Busch-Hütte. Möglichkeit zur Pause. Anschließend dem beschilderten Weg zur Similaunhütte folgen. Es gibt des offiziellen gekennzeichneten Weg auf halber Höhe des Hanges oder entlang des Bachbettes bis zum Fußes des Gletschers und über diesen am rechten Rand entlang nach oben bis zum Ausstieg vom Gletscher etwa auf gleicher Höhe wie die Hütte.
Bis zur Martin-Busch-Hütte absolut problemlos. Danach anspruchsvoller.

Vom Ötztal nach Vent. Parken auf den offiziellen Parkplätzen (gebührenpflichtig 2 - 4 €/Tag) oder aber bei den Hotels nachfragen. In der Vor- oder Nachsaison sind diese großzügig. Prima!
