Vom Rennsteig ins Werratal führt die Tour nur anfänglich auf Waldwegen rauf und runter. Dreistromstein und Werraquelle liegen am Weg, der bis Sachsenbrunn asphaltiert auf der Straße verläuft. Gesandete Wege oder wenig befahrene Nebenstraßen führen uns durch Eisfeld, Hildburghausen nach Kloster Vesra.
