Sehr, sehr, schöne Rundwanderung von Gmünd über Treffenboden, nach Malta, dann nach Schloss Dornbach und entlang der Malta wieder zurück nach Gmünd.
Gmünd in Kärnten liegt am Rande der Nationalparks Hohe Tauern und Nockberge am Zusammenfluss der Lieser und Malta auf 749 m Seehöhe.Der Ortsname Gmünd ist auf den Ausdruck “münden” bzw. Mündung zurückzuführen.
Bereits 1346 erhielt Gmünd das Stadtrecht und ist somit eine der ältesten Städte Kärntens.
