Die Tour beginnt am Castell de Roca, macht einen kleinen Abstecher, um das Castell von der Rückseite zu betrachten.Man überquert dann den Ser und läuft hinauf zum zum Torre de Briolfs Der Rückweg ist der Gleiche.. Briolfs ist heute eine Ruine, die aus dem XI. Jahrhundert stammt und war ebenso wie das Castell Teil der Grenzbefestigung von Besalú.
Der Weg ist zum Teil sehr steinig, es empfiehlt sich gutes Schuhwerk.

Von Banyoles aus fährt man die GI-524 Richtung Sant Miquel de Campmajor. An der Abzweigung nach Falgons vorbei, biegt man rechts ab in die GI-5244 Richtung Briolfs und dann zum Castell de Roca. Dort gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten.
