Start in Neuwied Niederbieber; über eine mäßig befahrene Landstraße über die Ahlheck nach Anhausen; ab Rüscheid ruhige Nebenstraße bis hinunter nach Puderbach im Holzbachtal; landschaftlich sehr schön durchs Holzbach- und später durchs Wiedtal, im oberen Wiedtal Reste einer Bahnline mit Ruinen alter Viadukte; im unteren Wiedtal neuer Radweg, zurück zum Ausgangspunkt, auch für Rennräder geeignet
