Auf dem südlichen Ufer im Tal der Ilz immer in Flußnähe und dann von der Schneidermühle zurück auf dem höher gelegenen Weg auf dem anderen Ufer. Die Ilz gilt als einer der letzten Wildbäche Deutschlands, was des Paddlers Herz erfreut. Befahrung mit Einschränkungen zum Vogelschutz und in diesem Jahr sicher auch schlicht aus Wassermange. Aber das ist dann ja eine andere Kategorie..

Da kommt man nur mit dem Auto hin. An der Schrottenmühle schöner Campingplatz. Das Gasthaus hat auch ausserhalb der Campingsaison geöffnet.
