Kleine Sonntagsvormittagsrunde. Vom Parkplatz Meckenheim (an der Pecher Landstraße) in den Kottenforst zur Burg Münchhausen. Durch die Felder nach Gelsdorf mit Blick auf das Radom (Kugel) in Wachtberg und dann hinunter ins Ahrtal. Herrlicher Blick in das Ahrtal. Vorbei an der Dokumentationsstätte (Regierungsbunker) zum Eva-Turm. Weiter Richtung Kloster Mariental. Zwischen den Weihern den Berg hinauf. Phantastischer Trail immer leicht bergauf. Am Waldrand vorbei an Holzweiler, Esch zur Kalenborner Höhe. Bis nach Altendorf folgen jetzt zwei schnelle Abfahrten (getrennt durch einen kleinen Zwischenanstieg). Über die Burg Münchhausen zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
