Startpunkt der Tour ist ein Wanderparkplatz direkt an der B37. Die Strecke führt zunächst bergauf zur Burgruine Hardenburg. Auf schönen Waldpfaden geht es um den Bretterkopf und Eppental herum zum Zeppelinturm von dem ein sehr schöner Ausblick auf den Pfälzerwald, die Rheinebene und Klosterruine Limbach gegeben ist.
