Die Skitour zum Wurmtaler Kopf beginnt an der Bergstation der Riffelseebahn. Von hier fährt man hinunter in das Loipengebiet am Riffelsee.
Bei schönem Wetter ziehen ganze Karawanen von Tourengehern in das Riffeltal, um die verschiedenen Skitourengipfel zu ersteigen.
