Vom Parkplatz zunächst den Forstweg in`s Bockbachtal. Bei Höhe 1350 verlässt man den Forstweg in südwestl. Richtung bis man bei 1650 zu einem unangenehmen steilen Waldstück kommt. Nach dessen Überwindung weiter auf dem schönen Nordostrücken bis zum Endpunkt der Tour. Wegen der erwähnten Steilstufe nicht ganz einfache Tour. Dafür hat man mit ziemlicher Sicherheit keine verfahrenen Hänge.
