Der Schwalmbruch ist ein offizieller Wanderweg vom WaWaWe (Naturpark Maas-Schwalm-Nette) und auch, wie sich am aktuell herausgestellt hat, ein idealer Weg für Radler mit mindestens einer Federung am Fahrrad. Über das Brüggen/Brachter Depot zum weißen Stein und dann parallel zum Grenzweg nach Swalmen, steigt man in den Schwalmbruchweg ein. Ein Singletrail-Rundweg führt uns bis zum Venekotensee und von dort aus geht es wieder in Richtung Schwalmtal.
