Startpunkt der Tour ist ein Parkplatz in der der Nähe des Gasthof Lam in Gleiszellen-Gleishorbach. Die Strecke führt zunächst südlich und während des Rückwegs, nördlich entlang des Klingbaches. Das vorletzte Etappenziel, die Burg Landeck, ist auch während der Wanderung immer wieder sehr schön zu sehen. Wie auch oben von der Burg sind auch entlang des Weges immer wieder herrliche Blicke auf die Pfälzer Weinberge und die Rheinebene möglich.
