Die Tour startet in Dormagen über die Autobahn über die A1 bis zur AS Bad-Münstereifel, wo die eigentliche Tour beginnt. Überwiegend Landstrassen (d.h. keine Bundesstrassen) mit tollen Kurven und Landschaften. Teils recht anspruchsvoll zu fahren, dafür wenig Verkehr.
