Der Rundwanderweg hat seinen Ausgangspunkt am Bahnhof Heroldsberg und ist somit auch mit der Gräfenbergbahn zu erreichen (startet in Nürnberg am Nordostbahnhof).
Für die Kinder am Wochenende interessant: man passiert den Modellflugplatz. Ansonsten ist es ein mäßig schwerer Weg, jedoch nicht komplett für Kinderwagen geeignet.
Wer möchte darf die Runde natürlich über Kalchreuth erweitern - aber für unsere Kinder reichte die Entfernung auch so schon mal aus.
