Die Tour beginnt in Au und führt zunächst in moderater Steigung in das Dürrenbachtal an der Bergkristalhütte vorbei. Ab der Annalperaualpe ist die Auffahrt durchweg ziemlich steil bis nach der Annalpe zu dem kleinen See. in 1850 mtr. Höhe. Ab da führt nur noch ein Wanderweg weiter und die letzten 150 Hm muß das Bike geschoben bzw. getragen werden bis zum Annalper Joch. Die Anstrengung wird aber belohnt durch eine eindrucksvolle Rundumaussicht.
Die ersten Höhenmeter hinunter bis zum Joch bei der Säckelalpe ist auch nochmal Schiebestrecke. Von da an knappe 1000 Hm Abfahrt bis zum Ausgangspunkt.
