Diese leichte Wanderung beginnt am Bahnhof in Wachenheim und endet am Bahnhof in Neustadt.
Nachdem man den Ort Wachenheim verlassen hat, trifft man auch bald auf die Wegezeichen des „Mandelpfads“ eine Mandelblüte auf viereckigen Schild.
Die Wegekennzeichnung ist allerdings noch nicht optimal.
Ausrüstung: normale Wanderausrüstung, Verpflegung und Getränke. Allerdings gibt es Unterwegs mehrere Einkehrmöglichkeiten, wenn sie denn geöffnet haben.
Optional: Wanderstöcke.
