Startpunkt war am Altenberger Dom nicht weit entfernt von Leverkusen. Nach der Besichtigung des Doms ging es zunächst das Eifgenbacher Tal hinauf, um anschließend nahe Witzhelden in das Tal der Wupper hinabzufahren. Entlang der Wupper führte der Weg vorbei an Burg, über die Schwebefähre unweit der Müngstner Brücke zum Brückenpark unterhalb der Brücke.
Da die Tour größtenteils über unbefestigte Waldwege führte, ist das MTB zu empfehlen.
