Die Wanderung geht am Parkplatz in Born am Signalschild los.
Zuerst entlang am Borner See. Danach treffen wir auf die Schwalm und gehen sie entlang bis zum Hariksee. Nach Umrundung des Sees geht es wieder zurück nach Born.
Je nach Jahreszeit sieht man eine Menge von Grau-, Silberreiern, Graugänse, Raubvögel, Nilgänse und andere Vögel.
Unterwegs sind auch einige Gaststätten.
Die Strecke ist gut befestigt, teilweise asphaltierte Feldwege.
