Der spröde Charme des Hohen Venns 
Der erste Abschnitt dieser Etappe verläuft durch das „Hohe Venn“, ist ganzjährig begehbar und bewusst zur Schonung des sensiblen Schutzgebietes angelegt. Im Sinne dieses empfindlichen Hochmoores wird Wanderern dringend empfohlen, diese Wegführung nicht zu verlassen und die Regeln der Schutzzone zu beachten. Die zweite Hälfte verläuft auf schönen Wegen und tollen Pfaden mit grandiosen Ausblicken.
