Start/Ziel ist Meinersen-Ost beim REWE-Parkplatz.
Es geht in Richtung Süden, durch den Meinerser und Leiferder Wald, in Richtung Winkel bei Gifhorn. Dort führt die Strecke am Waldsee vorbei zur Gifhorner Heide. Vorbei an der Waldschutzhütte geht es in nördliche Richtung, am Heidesee vorbei, über die B 188 nach Wilsche. Mit einer längeren Waldpassage kommt man nach Ettenbüttel. Vor Meinersen wird noch einmal abgebogen und die B 188 in südliche Richtung überquert. Hier führt die Route am Denkmal der Waldbrandkatastrophe von 1975 vorbei. Kurz darauf ist das Ziel in Meinersen erreicht.
