Gr. Denkte Parkplatz Falkenheim – Philosophenweg – Festberg – Schachtanlage Asse II
Tourbeschreibung
Der Philosophenweg ist ein 5,2 km langer, naturbelassener Weg, über den Höhenzug Asse. Er führt vom Parkplatz Falkenheim in Groß Denkte, über den Festberg (332 m) bis zum Besucherparkplatz an der Schachtanlage Asse II.
Geistesgrößen aus dem Herzogtum Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel haben sich seinerzeit in die Asse zurückgezogen, um "die Seele baumeln zu lassen". Möglicherweise hat der Weg deshalb seinen Namen bekommen.
