Die Route startet und endet am Schauspielhaus in Bochum. Zuerst geht's nach Stiepel und anschliessend zum Kemnader See. Von dort fährt man anschliessend an der Ruhr weiter nach Hattingen und dann nach Dahlhausen. Unterwegs gibt's genügend Möglichkeiten einen Biergarten aufzusuchen. Von Dahlhausen führt dann ein Fahrradweg zurück auf die HattingerStr. welche dann zurück zum Schauspielhaus führt.
Die grösste Steigungen sind am Anfang und am Ende der Route. Vom Kemnader See bis Dahlhausen sind keine nennenswerten Steigungen vorhanden.
