Vom Parkplatz aus läuft man zuerst bis zur Vilser Alm, bis hierher kann man auch mit dem MTB fahren, ab hier geht’s dann über einen Steig hinauf bis zum Hundsarschjoch und von da weiter auf den Vilser Kegel. Oben angekommen hat man einen schönen Blick ins Alpenvorland. Ich bin dann auf dem gleichen Weg wieder abgestiegen um auf der Alm noch ein Bier genießen zu können.

Von der Allgäuerstraße B309 fährt man zum Kalksteinbruch hinein bis hin zum Parkplatz. Ab hier ist die Vilser Alm bereits ausgezeichnet.
