Mit etwas mehr als 11 km eine der kürzeren"Extratouren"
Startmöglichkeiten sind der Parkplatz am Hilderser Schwimmbad und der Wanderparkplatz "Köpfchen" an der Strassse zwischen Hilders und Simmershausen.
Sehenswert ist die Ruine Auersberg von deren Aussichtsturm man einen wunderbaren Ausblick hat.
Desweiteren die Battensteinkapelle und die Hütte des Rhönklub Zweigvereins Simmershausen mit kleinem Weiher die zu einer Rast einlädt.
