Die Schwarzsee-Runde startet vom Parkplatz nach Osten entlang des Sees zuerst auf Asphalt, bald auf geschotterten Wiesen- und Waldwegen. Nach etwa 1 km erreicht man die Kitzbüheler Forstmeile, die mit abwechslungsreichen Übungen zum Training einlädt. Kurz danach führt der Weg dann direkt entlang des Wassers, teils auf Holzstegen teils auf Kieswegen durch traumhafte Moorseelandschaften. Entlang des Westufers und über einen angrenzenden Hügel geht’s zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
