Von Tupiza führt eine Piste nach Quetena Chico. Diese Piste ist bis zur Mine Unificada in einem vertretbaren Zustand. Danach wird die Piste miserabel und man muß nicht nur bergauf, sondern auch bergab schieben. Eine endlose Quälerei. Wer es trotz dieser Warnung nicht lassen kann, der mit diesem Track wenigstens die ebenfalls nicht einfache Navigation gelöst.
Zeitbedarf (ca.) bis Quetena Chico 7 Tage, bis San Pedro de Atacama über Laguna Verde 10 Tage.
